New Families - What to Expect
When your child walks through our doors at LCA for the first time, we welcome them with open arms into a comprehensive and holistic academic environment. Here we engage the whole unique person; mentally, physically, spiritually, and socially.
Mentally – give access to academic test scores, integrate the STEM method of learning, and inspire creativity through music.
Physically – provide whole body health classes with each child in mind. Teach and demonstrate healthy living habits, organize sports, and other physical extracurricular activities to spark confidence, strength, and teamwork (Check out our Calendar of Events.)
Spiritually – include Bible class in the weekly schedule, encourage and nurture character growth in each child, observe a week of prayer, accommodate worship times, and provide opportunities for Bible studies with a pastor.
Socially – teach and demonstrate healthy interpersonal skills, and accommodate outside classroom opportunities where kids can interact and build relationships.
