Q. What grades are available?

A. Lake City Academy is currently a Pre-k - 10th Grade, with plans to expand to 12th grade by the year 2023.

Q. Are you an acredited school?

A. Lake City Academy is accredited for Preschool through 10th grade by the Accrediting Association of Seventh-day Adventist Schools, which is recognized by the Northwest Association of Accredited Schools, the National Council for Private School Accreditation, and the State of Idaho. In addition, K-10 teachers are fully credentialed and our Early Childhood program is state certified.

Q. What faith or church are you affiliated with?

A. Lake City Academy is owned by the Upper Columbia Conference of Seventh-day Adventists and is operated by the area constituent Adventist Churches under the auspices and in harmony with the policies of its owners. The School Board is comprised of representatives from these churches and meets regularly to review operation and to formulate plans for the continued pursuit of excellence in Adventist Christian education.

Q. How long have you been around?

A. Lake City Academy has been educating and serving the Coeur d'Alene community since 1909.

Q. What is all the building that is happening?

A. Lake City Academy is outgrowing it's size. We are expanding through three phases to include 12 new classrooms, a new commons area and in phase three, a new gymnasium.

Q. Do you have a hot lunch program?

A. We Provide a vegetarian lunch for $3.95 Monday - Thursday but students can bring what they want from home to eat, no sharing. Thursday is Dominos Pizza Friday Bake Sale-donation only
