Adam Weeks has served in the field of education for over 15 years. He holds a masters in educational administration, as well as teaching credentials and a business degree. Mr. Weeks is passionate about helping kids develop a relationship with their Creator and discover their God-given talents. His mission is to interact with every student and family with compassion and make sure LCA’s teachers are equipped with the support, skills, and tools they need to run a successful classroom. When not at the office, Mr. Weeks enjoys nerdy technology gadgets, game nights, and spending quality time with family.
Laura Silva received her B.S. in Education at Walla Walla University. She has several years of teaching experience with children of different ages from preschool up to High school. When she is not teaching, she enjoys climbing, painting, and being outside with her family. Mrs. Silva started teaching at LCA in 2018.
Lynsey Carman earned her B.S. in Early Childhood Education at Pacific Union College in Angwin, CA.
Although born in Bella Coola, BC, Canada, she moved with her family to the Coeur d’Alene area when she was five and returned here to work with a local daycare after college. She has enjoyed teaching at Lake City Academy since August, 2015.
The first time she walked into a classroom to teach, she knew that was where she was called to be. She feels honored to spend her days loving and teaching the kids at Lake City Academy. When not in the classroom, she enjoys walking, reading, and drinking coffee.
Anita Roberts graduated from Southwestern University in Keene, TX, with a B.S. in Education and a minor in Music. She has taught in many diverse learning environments, throughout a range of grades, and in combination classrooms. She has also previously served as principal at two school. She began teaching at LCA in 1997 and received the “Excellence of Teaching Award” in 2012.
As a young girl reaised on a farm in Allegan, MI, Anita loved school. As an adult, she feels a great calling to be an educator, and desires to create positive school experiences where kids feel loved and accepted. She is committed to giving her best alongside her teammates at LCA. When she is not teaching, she is enjoys spending time with her husband, family, and dogs, as well as gardening, kayaking, hiking, and motorcycle riding with her husband.
Geoff Heald grew up in Tucson, AZ, and earned his Bachelor’s degree in English and a Masters in Education at Pacific Union College in California. He is accredited to teach English, Social Studies, and Bible Studies at high school and middle school levels. He has been the homeroom teacher for 7th & 8th grades at LCA since 2004.
Geoff desires to provide excellence as a teacher. He challenges students to do the best work they’ve ever done and value education for its own sake. He enjoys learning alongside his students, who make him laugh all the time. He enjoys going on family road trips to visit national parks. He also appreciates good food, well-written books, the fulfillment of teaching, and a variety of music and movies.
